I have no idea who came up with this, but why not! Besides, I’ve been to the Caribe Hilton and it is the ultimate mid-century American hotel in San Juan. And FYI there are a lot of cool Deco hotels too, kind of like South Beach.

- 2 oz. white rum
- 1 oz. coconut cream
- 1 oz. heavy cream
- 6 oz. fresh pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Mix rum, cream of coconut, heavy cream and pineapple juice in a blender. Add ice and mix for 15 seconds. Serve in a 12-oz. glass.
